Diabetes Resource Center (DRC):

This center provides personalized nutrition counseling for anyone with a nutritionist. There are diabetes specific resources available in the center. 

 

Diabetes Prevention Program:

It is an evidence-based year-long program that helps overweight adults at risk for type 2 diabetes adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles by eating healthier, increasing physical activity, and losing a modest amount of weight. This program provides a supportive environment where participants work together to achieve their goals. 

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA Program

Livestrong at the YMCA is a small-group physical activity and well-being program for adult cancer survivors which meets at the YMCA twice a week for 12 weeks for 90 minutes each session. A welcoming community is created in which cancer survivors can improve their strength and physical fitness, diminish the severity of therapy side effects, develop supportive relationships, and improve the quality of their lives.
